A Drive in the Country

Day 83

I drove my parents across a couple of counties to another local festival today.  This one lasts a week and a half each October and draws hordes of people.  It used to celebrate small towns, covered bridges, lovely scenery, and local handcrafts; now it has more of a flea market atmosphere.  I miss the old style.  But it was a beautiful day and I did find and snatch up some local pottery.  I also found a carved bear friend I liked a lot but didn’t quite dare to bring home with me.
