Day 54

Random Acts of Management

Today we had a staff development in-service day with no students.  The powers that be decided (probably in an effort to avoid the appearance that I was getting away with anything) that I needed to attend workshops all day.  This meant that instead of working alone in the library and actually making progress on my endless to-do list, I found myself learning the best way to teach math.  Which at one point apparently included making us all walk around with paper plates on our heads singing “Row, Row, Row Your Boat.”
